COKING COAL DAILY: Seaborne premium fob index jumps on higher deals

The seaborne premium hard coking coal fob index jumped on Tuesday November 24 due to latest transactions sealed at higher prices while the premium hard coking coal cfr price also increased after Chinese steel mills had to pay a premium for high-quality hard coking coal from countries other than Australia.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $108.67 per tonne, up $9.45 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $163.35 per tonne, up $3.08 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $90.53 per tonne, unchanged
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $150.63 per tonne, up $6.63 per tonne
A 45,000-tonne cargo of premium low-volatility hard coking coal, with January 1-10 laycan, was traded at $108 per tonne fob Australia on Monday November 23.
