COKING COAL DAILY: Seaborne premium prices in fob, cfr markets diverge

Seaborne premium hard coking coal prices in the cfr and fob markets moved in reverse directions on Thursday October 29 amid a distorted spot market, sources said.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $107.74 per tonne, down $7.61 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $135.26 per tonne, up $15.43 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $95.52 per tonne, down $0.25 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $104.01 per tonne, unchanged
An 85,000-tonne cargo of premium low-volatility hard coking coal, with December 1-10 laycan, was traded at $108.20 per tonne fob Australia on Thursday October 29.
