COKING COAL DAILY: Seaborne premium prices slump in recent trading

Seaborne premium hard coking coal prices slumped on Tuesday October 13, with the latest transactions agreed at lower prices while other participants watched the market for developments.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $125.04 per tonne, down $6.04 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $135.76 per tonne, down $4.38 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $111.02 per tonne, down $0.50 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $121.01 per tonne, unchanged
A cargo of premium low-volatility hard coking coal was heard traded at $125 per tonne fob Australia on October 12. And a cargo of premium mid-volatility hard coking coal was heard traded at $120 per tonne fob Australia on the same day, sources told Fastmarkets on Tuesday.
