COKING COAL DAILY: Seaborne prices strong amid upgoing domestic market

Seaborne coking coal prices increased in the cfr China market following a strong domestic coking coal market on Wednesday August 25 and stayed largely firm in the fob Australia market amid low trading activities, market sources said.

Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $365.31 per tonne, up $8.63 per tonne
Premium hard coking coalfob DBCT: $232.52 per tonne, down $1.57 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $202.90 per tonne, up $1.99 per tonne
In China, market sentiment on seaborne coking coal prices maintained a strong position on Wednesday following the rising domestic coking coal prices.
