COKING COAL DAILY: Tight supplies push up prices in cfr market; Australian coal redirected to ex-China markets

Seaborne coking coal prices in the cfr market jumped on Wednesday December 9 due to relatively tight supplies for steel mills in China, sources told Fastmarkets.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $102.81 per tonne, down $0.27 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $176.55 per tonne, up $7.03 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $92.56 per tonne, down $0.12 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $160.26 per tonne, up $6.15 per tonne
