BOGOTA, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Colombia's central bank lowered the benchmark interest rate to 4.5 percent on Monday, as policymakers seek a boost to still sluggish economic growth.
The board reduced the lending rate by 25 basis points, contrary to the hold expected by the majority of analysts in a Reuters survey.
