International copper prices enjoyed a powerful rally last week amid a broad-based rebound across the industrial metals space. LME copper rose 7.3%, the largest weekly gain since the week ending November 25, 2016. Comex copper surged 8.9%, its best performance since the week ending November 11, 2016. SHFE copper rose by a smaller 3.2%, but still the biggest rise since the week ending June 8, 2018.
