The cryptocurrency mania could be a repeat of the tech bubble, says financial author and columnist John Rubino. Two decades ago, when many tech startups failed, some ended up surviving the crash: these are the tech giants today. Rubino says a similar thing could happen to the cryptocurrency space, where most collapse in a glorious death but a few survive as money of the future. Also in this interview, Rubino discusses how does cryptocurrency compare with gold and silver, and the role of precious metals in a future monetary system.
