(IDEX Online) - Jewelry customers can now pay $40 for an image of themselves wearing virtual jewelry. It's part of a collaboration between The Banter by Piercing Pagoda - a chain of kiosk stores owned by Signet Jewelers  - and DressX, a "metacloset of digital-only clothes".They have jointly launched a six-piece jewelry collection. "Three of the styles are digital-only, featuring elements that play outside the world of physics, creating a stylish and unique digital identity," they say in a press release.Customers can "upload a photo of themselves to have a digital jewelry piece of their choice fitted to their image for $40."There are also three "phygital" jewlery items, available to buy as a digital product or as an IRL (in real life) product."Collaborating with DressX will help Banter by Piercing Pagoda, and our parent, Signet Jewelers, start our journey to be the brand consumers look to for expressing their unapologetic and daring personal style in the virtual and real worlds," said Kecia Caffie, president, Banter by Piercing Pagoda.Pics courtesy The Banter by Piercing Pagoda/DressX
