DAILY SCRAP REPORT: European cargo pushes prices up further

Turkish steel scrap import prices continued to strengthen in the latest deep-sea cargo, despite sluggish demand for finished rebar and billet, sources said on Friday November 29.

A steel mill in the Marmara region booked a European cargo, comprising HMS 1&2 (75:25) at $263 per tonne and bonus at $278 per tonne cfr.
