DAILY STEEL SCRAP: Fresh October deal keeps prices steady

Turkish steel producers have ended the working week with more bookings for October shipments, market participants said on Friday September 10.

A steel mill in the Iskenderun region booked a Baltic Sea cargo comprising heavy melting scrap 1&2 (80:20) at $445 per tonne and bonus at $460 per tonne cfr. The cargo breakdown was not clear at the time of publication.
There was also talk of two more sales from Europe.
