DAILY STEEL SCRAP: Prices inch upward as mills book further cargoes

Turkish steel mills booked further scrap cargoes in the deep-sea market on Tuesday October 27, adding to the six heard on the market the day before, sources have told Fastmarkets.

A batch of newly booked cargoes came to light on Monday, and on Tuesday another handful of fresh trades were heard.
A US-origin cargo was booked by a mill in the Iskenderun region, comprising unknown tonnages of HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $292 per tonne, shredded at $297 per tonne and bonus at $302 per tonne.
