(IDEX Online) - De Beers has opened a new flagship store in Hong Kong, featuring a fa?? ?ade inspired by the transformation of a diamond from rough to polished.The top part is made of textured metal that shines like a natural diamond. The lower section comprises colorful glass panels casting a unique triangular water chestnut pattern.The interior of the two-story 170 square meter store echoes the Old Bond Street flagship in London, with its curved staircase."The new high-end jewelry salon is the first experience space created by De Beers in Hong Kong to showcase high-end jewelry masterpieces," the company said.The new store is on Canton Road, an exclusive shopping area in Harbor City, Tsim Sha Tsui.De Beers follows Van Cleef & Arpels, the French luxury jeweler and Piaget, the Swiss luxury watch and jewelry brand, which have both opened flagship stores on Canton Road in recent months.Pics courtesy De Beers
