(IDEX Online) - The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) has unveiled its first male cover star.Actor Taylor Zakhar Perez is cast as the Diamond Cowboy in a two-minute video and in an interview and photoshoot promoting diamond jewelry for men. He follows in the footsteps of actresses Lily James and Ana de Armas and supermodel Karen Elson, who have all promoted natural diamonds in high-profile advertising campaigns.Chicago-born Zakhar Perez, 31, is best known for The Kissing Booth romantic comedy films, Red, White & Royal Blue and the sex comedy series Minx.He is photographed wearing a diamond and enamel pendant by Greek designer Nikos Koulis and a diamond bolo necklace by Graziela, based in Italy."I visited the Karowe Diamond Mine in Botswana," said.
