EC to set definitive anti-dumping duties on Turkish HRC - sources

The European Commission will set definitive duties on hot-rolled coil from Turkey at marginally lower levels than for preliminary duties, sources told Fastmarkets.

The EC imposed provisional anti-dumping duties of 4.80-7.60% in early January 2021.
Both European and Turkish market sources said that the EC has sent letter to the interested parties with definitive duties that have been calculated to be slightly lower then the provisional tariffs.

The EC calculated definitive duties for Habas at 4.70%, compared with 4.80% in provisional duties; for Erdemir at 4.90%, down by 0.50 percentage point; for Agir Haddecilik and Borcelik at 5.60%, down from 5.90%; and for Colakoglu and all other companies at...
