Egyptian government eases construction ban

The Egyptian government has eased the ban on its domestic construction industry, it said on Tuesday September 29.

Contractors and real estate developers are now permitted to resume construction on buildings up to four-stories high, Fastmarkets understands.
The Egyptian government initially imposed a building ban on May 25.
