LONDON, 5 March 2021 - BullionVault's research director Adrian Ash was a guest today on ET Now, the financial news channel from India's Economic Times.
"Interest rates matter a lot to gold prices," Adrian explained of the current downturn in prices. "Gold is the ultimate hard asset...but it does not pay you any interest. So it is what people buy when they worry about losing purchasing power in currency...clearly the case in the Indian Rupee.
