Sales of passenger cars in the EU dropped by 11.99% year on year in November 2020, due to a second wave Covid-19 lockdown measures being introduced in several member states.

New car sales in the European Union totalled 897,692 vehicles in November 2020, down from 1.02 million units sold in the corresponding month of 2019, the European Automotive Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Thursday December 17.
