BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Euro zone finance ministers urged their Italian peer Giovanni Tria at a closed-door meeting on Monday to change the country’s budget for next year and respect European Union fiscal rules, an EU official told Reuters.
Ministers “encouraged Italy to review its position, respond to Commission’s concerns and respect the agreed rules”, the official said, reporting the discussion held at a Eurogroup meeting on Monday.
