EUROPE ALLOY STEEL SCRAP: UK austenitic prices ease on lower nickel costs

The price of austenitic stainless steel scrap in the UK domestic market eased this week on lower nickel costs, sources told Fastmarkets on Friday September 11.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment of stainless steel scrap 18/8 solids domestic, delivered merchants UK was ?830-860 ($1,073-1,111) per tonne on Friday, down by ?10-20 from ?850-870 per tonne a week ago.
