EUROPE HDG: Domestic prices increase further on tight supply, ArcelorMittal moved offers up again

Domestic prices for hot-dipped galvanized steel coil in Europe increased again over the week to Wednesday May 12 on support from the combination of strong demand and a material shortage, sources told Fastmarkets.

ArcelorMittal increased its official coil offers by ?,?50 ($61) per tonne on May 12 so as a result, new offers for HDG have reached ?,?1,250 per tonne ex-works on May 13, market sources said.
Prior to ArcelorMittal's announcement, transaction prices had been reported close to the company's previous offer level of ?,?1,200 per tonne ex-works across Europe, Fastmarkets heard.
