EUROPE HDG: Domestic prices rise on lack of offers in market

Domestic prices for hot-dipped galvanized steel coil in Europe increased again in the week to Wednesday April 28 due to a material shortage and strong demand, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel hot-dipped galvanized coil domestic, exw Northern Europe was ?,?1,120-1,150 ($1,353-1,389) per tonne on April 28, up by ?,?50-70 per tonne from ?,?1,050-1,100 per tonne.
The corresponding weekly price assessment for steel hot-dipped galvanized coil domestic, exw Southern Europe was ?,?1,100-1,150 per tonne on April 28, up by ?,?50 per tonne from ?,?1,050-1,100 per tonne.
