EUROPE HRC: Domestic price rises pause but more to come

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe were unchanged day on day on Monday August 17, after a gradual increase last week, sources have told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, was calculated at ?,?419.17 ($496.32) per tonne on Monday August 17, unchanged from August 14.
The index was, however, up by ?,?5.00 per tonne week on week and up by ?,?11.64 per tonne month on month.
