EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices continue to recover despite slow trading

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe increased day on day on Tuesday October 6, despite buyers holding back from making new deals, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, at ?,?496.46 ($583.74) per tonne on Tuesday October 6, up by ?,?3.13 per tonne from ?,?493.33 per tonne on October 5.
The index was up by ?,?7.60 per tonne week on week and by ?,?29.07 per tonne month on month.
