EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices inch up in North on tight supply

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe increased again day on day on Thursday November 12, supported by tight supplies, sources have told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, at ?,?525.00 ($618.95) per tonne on Thursday, up by ?,?0.50 per tonne from ?,?524.50 per tonne on Wednesday.
The index was also up by ?,?13.66 per tonne week on week and by ?,?31.67 per tonne month on month.
Thursday's index was based on achievable prices heard at ?,?520-530 per tonne ex-works.
