EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices remain largely stable, market expected to recover by mid-January

The domestic price for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe was largely stable on Friday January 3, due to limited trading activity after holidays in the European Union, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' daily steel hot-rolled coil index domestic, exw Northern Europe inched up to ?,?439.38 ($489.38) per tonne on January 3, compared with ?,?439.17 per tonne a day earlier.
