EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices rise further on tight supply

The domestic price for hot-rolled coil rose day on day in Northern Europe on Thursday January 14 due to limited prompt supply, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe at ?,?705.12 ($858.99) per tonne on Thursday, up by ?,?13.87 per tonne day on day from ?,?691.25 per tonne on Wednesday.
The index was also up by ?,?38.12 per tonne week on week and by ?,?81.79 per tonne month on month.
