EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices slide further in the north

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe moved down day on day on Monday June 15 due to low demand, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe was ?,?393.75 ($442.92) per tonne on Monday June 15, down by ?,?2.50 per tonne from ?,?396.25 per tonne on Friday June 12 - also down by ?,?5 per tonne week on week and by ?,?18.13 per tonne month on month.
Monday's index was calculated based on offers heard at ?,?390-400 per tonne and bids and "workable" prices heard at ?,?390-395 per tonne.
