EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices stable as buyers stay watchful

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe were fairly stable day on day on Thursday October 15 with buyers preferring to hold back from making new deals until the price trend becomes clear, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, at ?,?495.63 ($582.18) per tonne on Thursday October 15, up by ?,?0.63 per tonne from ?,?495.00 per tonne on October 14.
The index was down by ?,?0.72 per tonne week on week but was up by ?,?18.65 per tonne month on month.

Thursday's index was based on achievable prices heard at ?,?480-500 per tonne ex-works...
