EUROPE HRC: Mills bullish on lack of imported supply, some demand recovery

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe were largely stable day on day on Tuesday July 14, but steelmakers continue to push for price rises, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe was calculated at ?,?403.00 ($456.87) per tonne on Tuesday July 14, down by just ?,?0.13 per tonne from ?,?403.13 per tonne on Monday.
Tuesday's index was based on deals and achievable prices heard at ?,?395-410 per tonne ex-works.
