EUROPE HRC: Shortage of material pushes domestic prices higher still

The domestic hot-rolled coil price increased day on day in Northern Europe on Tuesday December 22 due to limited supply of the material across the EU.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe at ?,?665.00 ($811.68) per tonne on Tuesday December 22, up by ?,?4.60 per tonne day on day from ?,?660.40 per tonne on Monday.
The index was also up by ?,?28.75 per tonne week on week and by ?,?122.50 per tonne month on month.
