EUROPE HRC: Tight supply drives domestic prices further upward

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe increased day on day on Tuesday November 10, due to long lead times for domestic material and lack of import offers, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, at ?,?521.67 ($618.77) per tonne on Tuesday, up by ?,?8.54 per tonne from ?,?513.13 per tonne on Monday.

The index was also up by ?,?15.71 per tonne week on week and by ?,?28.17 per tonne month...
