EUROPE HRC: Tight supply supports domestic prices

Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil in Northern Europe were fairly stable day on day on Tuesday October 27, supported by reduced availability of the material in the market, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets calculated its daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, at ?,?498.33 ($589.12) per tonne on Tuesday, up by just ?,?0.41 per tonne day on day from ?,?497.92 per tonne on October 26.
The index was also up by ?,?1.83 per tonne week on week and by ?,?11.54 per tonne month on month.
