EUROPE PLATE: Domestic prices down in south on poor demand

Domestic prices for heavy steel plate went down in Southern Europe in the week to Wednesday November 4 due to low demand, sources have told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel domestic plate, 8-40mm, exw Southern Europe, was ?,?445-455 ($520-532) per tonne on November 4, down by ?,?5-10 per tonne from ?,?450-465 per tonne.
The assessment reflected offers and "workable" prices heard in the market.
