EUROPEAN MORNING BRIEF 31/07: SHFE base metals all up; Talison Lithium plans to triple output; global Mn supply up 4.4% in June

Good morning from Metal Bulletin's offices in Asia as we bring you the latest news and pricing stories on Tuesday July 31.

Base metals prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange were up across the board during morning trading on Tuesday, with a weaker dollar providing broad support to the complex.

Talison Lithium plans to increase its current lithium concentrate production threefold to fulfill the lithium supply needs of the company's shareholders, Tianqi Lithium and Albemarle.

World silico-manganese supply dropped 7.2% in June compared with May, while manganese supply increased by 2.6% in the same comparison, according to latest data from the International Manganese Institute.

Katoen Natie Commodities Antwerp has withdrawn entirely from London Metal Exchange warehouse services in Europe, the exchange said.
