Ex-Stornoway Exec Becomes Lucara CFO

RAPAPORT... Lucara Diamond Corp. has appointed Zara Boldt as its chieffinancial officer and corporate secretary, as part of an effort to consolidateits management team, the miner said last week.  "[Zara] will be focused on maximizing the value of Lucara'score diamond-mining business at Karowe, and will support the development ofClara, our new secure, digital diamond-sales platform," said CEO Eira Thomas.  Lucara is merging two senior positions into one: Boldt (pictured) willreplace CFO Glenn Kondo, as well as legaland corporate secretary and vice president Jennifer Lecour. The move is part of a company-wideeffort to bring all of Lucara's management together in the Vancouver office,Thomas added.  Boldt was previously chief financial officer and corporatesecretary for Strongbow Exploration. She was also vice president of finance andchief financial officer for Stornoway Diamond Corporation, which Lucara CEO Thomascofounded. Kondo and Lecour will remain at the company in an advisorycapacity until the end of May.
