Explorer Starts Trenching and Sampling to Help Identify Drill Targets at Argentina Asset

Golden Arrow Resources is ready to commence exploring for gold at its Flecha de Oro project's Puzzle property.

Golden Arrow Resources Corp. (GRG:TSX.V; GARWF:OTCQB; G6A:FSE) is about to begin a trenching and sampling program at the Puzzle property of its Flecha de Oro gold project in Argentina, it announced in a news release. The objective is to delineate targets for possible drilling.

"It's a great time to be exploring for gold and at this project where we have the potential to identify multiple large gold systems," Vice President of Exploration and Development Brian McEwen said in the release.

A total of 18 trenches over 2,500 meters (2,500m) will be excavated along 6.2 kilometers (6.2 km) of the vein corridor's strike length. The corridor is coincident with a magnetic low identified during a ground survey. The geologic structure is about 6.5 km long, 150m-plus wide and open in both directions. It contains a main mineralized quartz vein and has a quartz stockwork zone next to it, the company noted.

All of the necessary permits are in hand, and the team is now on site, the company stated. All workers will follow COVID-19 protocols, including residing in a nearby camp for the duration of the work to avoid contact with the general public. Golden Arrow expects this trenching and sampling campaign to take until the end of January 2021 to complete.

Along with Puzzle, the Vancouver-based company stated it intends to explore Flecha de Oro's other two properties, Esperanza and Maquinchao, which span 9,968 and 2,000 hectares, respectively, in 2021.
