RAPAPORT... Pandora has reported a blaze at a distribution center in Hamburg, Germany, noting that the company would use its other locations to serve the European markets should the incident affect supply. The fire, which began yesterday, is under control but has not yet been fully extinguished, Pandora said Sunday. Because the situation is ongoing, the Danish jeweler has not been able to determine the full extent of the damage to the facility and inventory, and whether it will impact operations. However, the retailer did note that no one had been injured.Pandora expects online sales to continue relatively unaffected through its external partners, it explained.  "To mitigate disruptions caused by the incident, Pandora's other points of distribution will to the furthest possible extent service the European market," the company said. The jeweler will provide a further update once substantial new information becomes available, it added.Image: A Pandora jewelry bag and boxes. (Shutterstock)
