Europe's largest copper producer, Aurubis, sees sustainable copper production as a focal point for the development of the industry, safeguarding the future of copper supply while it recovers from one of the most challenging periods in history, the company's newest senior vice president of commercial, Michael Hellemann, has told Fastmarkets.
The Hamburg-based copper producer's latest results statement - covering the period from October 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020 - showed total revenue uptick year-on-year of a little less than 2.5% to ?,?8.89 million ($10.5 million) during the first nine months of the company's fiscal year.
