(IDEX Online) - The priceless yellow Tiffany Diamond is to make a new screen appearance, in Kenneth Branagh's new movie Death on the Nile.The cushion-shape brilliant, weighing 128.54 carats with an unprecedented 82 facets - 24 more facets than usual - was discovered at the Kimberley diamond mines in South Africa in 1877.Audrey Hepburn wore it in publicity photographs the 1961 classic Breakfast at Tiffany's and now Israeli actress Gal Gadot - best known as Wonder Woman - wears it an adaptation of the classic Agatha Christie whodunnit, to be released on 23 October.The rough 287.42-carat stone was bought by Tiffany & Co founder Charles Lewis Tiffany for $18,000 and cut in Paris to enhance its radiant color rather than size.
