Germany's Salzgitter declares force majeure on steel deliveries

German flat steel producer Salzgitter has declared force majeure due to weather conditions that resulted in disruptions to deliveries, the company's spokesman told Fastmarkets on Monday February 15.

The company hopes that the weather will improve in the middle of this week and that deliveries will start to run as normal.
