(IDEX Online) - India's Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), organized an India Pavilion at the Vicenzaoro Winter show which ends tomorrow, with a total of 355 sq m housing 19 exhibitors showcasing jewelry and loose stones.
Pramod Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, GJEPC, said, "India's total exports of gems and jewelry to Europe accounted for $3.94 billion in 2018. Europe has been an important market for India, and Italy has been an entry point for Europe in general and EU countries. Vicenzaoro offers a perfect platform for our exhibitors to learn and understand the market here and, also come up with jewelry pieces as per the changing trends. This also provides us the opportunity to enhance our existing trade relationship and create new ones."
The Vicenzaoro Winter show is regarded as a leading event for the international jewelry industry, attended by a large number of international companies as well as by visitors and buyers from all over the globe.
The GJEPC organizes pavilions for Indian firms at important trade shows such as the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS), Signature IIJS, India Gem & Jewellery Machinery Expo (IGJME), JCK Las Vegas, Baselworld, the Hong Kong shows and others worldwide.
