--Glencore won a temporary injunction against mining magnate Dan Gertler over $2.28 billion worth of royalties the Israeli businessman says he is owed by the Anglo-Swiss commodities trader, the Financial Times reports.
--The FT says a London court granted the injunction after Mr. Gertler took legal action to freeze the company's Kamoto Copper Company mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo over the royalties claim.
--The court in London dismissed Glencore's request for Mr. Gertler's legal action to be abandoned, but the injunction forbids the businessman from taking further steps against the KCC mine, though he has a separate $695 million claim against Glencore's Mutanda mine in the DRC that will be heard in Hong Kong, the FT says.
