Key drivers 

The price of antimony, MMTA standard grade II, ddp China remained unchanged for the third consecutive week in the latest assessment period ended on Wednesday January 8 after many suppliers held offer prices firm. Many domestic suppliers were reluctant to compromise further on offer prices, citing the lingering limited availability of ore material.  A few producers were heard to have halted production for annual maintenance recently and will not restart operations until after the Chinese New Year break (January 25-30).
