The price of antimony, MMTA standard grade II, ddp China, dipped for the third consecutive week on November 20 after some suppliers continuous cut their offer prices to attract sales in an attempt to generate cash before the year-end.Trading activity remained limited, with the market in a stalemate. Some suppliers were still reluctant to make further compromises on offer prices, citing lingering difficulty in sourcing cheap ore material.Meanwhile, many Chinese antimony consumers sat on the sidelines of the market amid subdued demand and prices for antimony trioxide. In addition, ample stocks at plants and expectation of lower prices in the near future stifled many consumers' buying interest.
