GLOBAL ANTIMONY WRAP: Supply tightness keeps European prices firm; lull persists in Chinese market

European antimony prices were steady in the latest pricing session due to supply tightness, while the Chinese market remained quiet with limited spot activity taking place.

Metal Bulletin assessed MMTA standard grade II antimony in-warehouse Rotterdam prices at $8,600-8,800 per tonne on Friday March 16, unchanged from Wednesday's assessment, when prices had also stayed stable. Trioxide grade antimony prices, in-warehouse Rotterdam, were assessed at $8,650-8,800 per tonne on Friday, also unchanged from Wednesday's assessment and from the previous week's assessment.
