Leading mills Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Tisco) and Tsingshan Group raised their tender prices for October so Chinese ferro-chrome suppliers raised spot offer prices in response. Fastmarkets' price assessment for ferro-chrome spot 6-8% C, basis 50% Cr, ddp China rose to 6,500-6,800 yuan ($912-954) per tonne on September 27, up from 6,300-6,500 yuan per tonne one week ago.
