GLOBAL NICKEL WRAP: Market favors US cut-cathodes, Europe briquettes; premiums respond accordingly

US market participants eyed premium increases on nickel cut-cathodes after local supply ran short in the week to Tuesday February 5, while European demand was focused on briquettes, boosting premiums by 4% at the midpoint of Fastmarkets' range.
