Chinese exporters were seen raising vanadium offer prices amid stronger sentiment following the market's return from the Chinese New Year holidays, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' price assessment for ferro-vanadium, 78% min, fob China, moved to $70.50-75 per kg on Thursday, up 2.5% from $70-72 per kg in the week ahead of the Chinese New Year.

Many Chinese ferro-vanadium exporters raised their offers to the range of $74-77 per kg in the latest pricing period on the anticipation that there would unavoidably be a round of restocking from overseas market players after the Chinese holiday, celebrated February 4-10, .
