Gold Resource reports Q1 production from Nevada, Mexico

Gold Resource (NYSE-AM: GORO) has released preliminary first-quarter production results for its mining operations in the U.S. and Mexico.

In Nevada, its Isabella Pearl open-pit heap leach mine, the company's flagship property, produced 3,692 ounces in the first quarter. Isabella Pearl is located 174 km southeast of Reno in south-central Nevada's Walker Lane mineral belt. Production commenced in April 2019.

In Mexico, its two producing underground mines, Arista and Mirador, churned out a total of 6,450 oz. of gold, 402,542 oz. of silver, 488 tonnes of copper, 2,514 tonnes of lead and 5,844 tonnes of zinc. The two mines are in the southern state of Oaxaca.

The Arista mine is located within the company's El Aguila project, part of the San Jose de Gracia mining district, about 120 km southeast of the state's capital, Oaxaca City. The deposit at Arista is open along strike and at depth and comprises two distinct vein systems, the Arista and the Switchback.

The Mirador mine, about 16 km northwest of El Aguila, is located on the company's Alta Gracia project.

At press time in Toronto, Gold Resources was trading at US$3.67 per share within a 52-week trading range of US$2.02 and US$6.24.

The company has 64 million common shares outstanding for a US$256 million market capitalization.
